Most textile products are made of synthetic fibers obtained from crude oil.
These are hazardous for the environment due to the release of microplastic fibers and due to its accumulation after the product lifecycle. Plastic-based textile can take 100 years to biodegrade.
Tech4MED is using NaturALL-Cell-BS to produce medical uniforms, which are 100% biodegradable and compostable. Because Lyocell is made of wood, these fibers only take a few months to decompose. Furthermore, the Lyocell production process takes place in a closed loop which does not create hazardous by-products.
Tech4MED adds NaturALL-BS, providing antiviral and antimicrobial properties while resulting in a product with a negative carbon footprint.
